Zotac, Gulf Shadows sign distribution deal

Dubai, November 17, 2013

Zotac International, a global innovator and manufacturer of graphics cards, main boards and mini-PCs, has signed a distribution deal with Gulf Shadows Computer Systems to bolster its presence in the regional market.

Under the agreement, Gulf Shadows will promote and distribute Zotac’s range of graphic cards through its channel network across the Mena region except the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain markets.

"We are looking to strengthen our business by signing on an established distributor, who could open doors for us in countries where we do not have a strong presence. Gulf Shadows, with its vast market knowledge and experience, solid channel network, technical capabilities and extensive reach, was the perfect partner for us,” said Carsten Berger, senior director, Zotac International.

ZOTAC, which began its Middle East operations in 2008, has been successful in establishing itself as a brand of choice for many customers in the region, providing graphics cards and mini PCs.

Feras Kayali, chief operations officer, Gulf Shadows Computer Systems, said: “We are happy to sign on Zotac, which is one of the most reputed VGA brands globally. The partnership will increase the choice for our customers by bringing them high quality products at competitive prices.”

Gulf Shadows will distribute Zotac’s VGA cards in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Algeria and Tunisia. - TradeArabia News Service
