Eurostar launches first women’s tablet

Eurostar has unveiled the world’s first tablet made exclusively for women - The ePad Femme Tablet, an 8-inch capacitive screen tablet which will adapt to a modern woman’s diverse lifestyle.

The tablet comes in a light shade of pink, has cutting-edge features and a plethora of pre-loaded applications such as yoga, fitness, cooking, health, entertainment and many others making it the perfect Valentine’s Day gift, a statement from the company said.

“With the expansion of our Android tablet range, the Eurostar Group has made a significant impact on the tablet industry,” said Raju Jethwani, chairman, Eurostar Group. “The new ePad Femme Tablet is catered to women who may have many diverse interests and will seamlessly fit into their lifestyle. We are especially enthusiastic about the wide ranging applications and utility this tablet will offer to women.”

The Femme Tablet is powered by the latest 4.0 version of the Android Ice Cream operating system and boasts a 16GB ROM flash storage space. The highly sensitive 8-inch capacitive screen allows users to enjoy movies and TV shows while also having access to recipes, exercise guides and a range of applications designed to enhance specific user group experiences.

The Femme Tablet is Wi-Fi enabled and feature pre-loaded applications that include Google Talk, Android Market, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, YouTube, Gmail, Dictionary, Encyclopaedia and games. Other accessories include a power adapter, ear phones, USB cable, various capacity Micro SD cards and a leather case.

The ePad Femme Tablet is priced at BD61.5 ($163.56) and is currently available through leading retail outlets and through Eurostar's channel strength of over 100 dealers, hypermarkets and corporate channel partners. – TradeArabia News Service
