Baume & Mercier rolls out new models

Dubai, April 16, 2012

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Baume & Mercier has officially launched its 2012 novelties in the Middle East including the ‘Capeland’ collections for men, ‘Linea’ for women, and ‘Hampton’ for both men and women.

The new models from these hugely successful collections were presented at a ‘Seaside Living’ inspired preview event in Al Qasr hotel in Dubai.

The novelties were launched on a global scale at Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie – SIHH – in January, and are currently being showcased on a platform level across the globe.

“It is an exciting time for us to showcase the latest collections in our region. Through our retail points and our hugely active social media platforms we have combined the feedback of our followers to enhance the collections,' remarked Romain Dezaux, Middle East brand manager, Baume & Mercier.

'Our studio design team has developed larger case sizes, more automatic movements for women, steel bracelets, diamond enhancements, and overall finer watchmaking attributes. I am certain our clients will enjoy the new Capeland, Linea and Hampton timepieces which are set to leave a huge impact on the industry as a whole,” he added.

The unveiling of the novelties took place at a private breakfast event specially themed to suit the brand universe launched in line with its new chapter last year, ‘Seaside Living in the Hamptons’.

The 2012 watches are extensions of the Capeland, Linea and Hampton lines which were launched in 2011, and will be available in The Dubai Mall .-TradeArabia News Service
