Van Cleef & Arpels, a luxury French jewelry, watch and perfume company, will be showcasing its latest High Jewellery collection “Bals de Légende” for the first time in the Middle East at the upcoming Design Days Dubai (DDD) expo.

DDD, Dubai's first specialized design exhibition, to be held from March 18 to 21, will form part of Art Week, a broad programme of cultural events taking place across the UAE in March.

As the headline supporter of DDD, Van Cleef will roll out its latest “Bals de Légende” on an awe-inspiring themed booth reflecting the true spirit of the collection, said a company statement.

The collection presents five sets of jewels, inspired by five extraordinary 20th century balls and reflecting the different magnificent experiences of Le Bal du Palais d'Hiver, Le Bal du Siècle, Le Bal Black & White, Le Bal Oriental and Le Bal Proust.

Each tells the story of an unforgettable evening, guided by a sparkling feminine dancer who invites us to step into the magical world of these five Bals de Légende, it added.

This is the first time the collection will be showcased in the Middle East since its launch in Paris, said a senior official.

“DDD is the perfect platform to highlight our savoir-faire and expertise in High Jewellery. Showcasing the extraordinary Bals de Légende collection will allow design enthusiasts to connect with our roots, whilst highlighting our dedication to uncompromising support for creativity,” remarked Alban Belloir, the regional director of Van Cleef & Arpels.
