Muscat mall opens new stores
Muscat, February 27, 2012
Muscat-based Qurum City Centre recently opened seven new stores, adding to the fashion, electronics, homeware brands, and reinforcing the practical and convenience of its offer to the local community.
Shoppers visiting the mall this month also have a chance to win shopping sprees and prizes totaling RO20,000 as part of the Mega Festival campaign which ended last week, said a statement.
“Our mission has always been to provide a variety of merchandise options to shoppers and the addition of these new destinations serves to better meet the needs of Qurum residents,” said Husam Al Mandari, senior mall manager for Qurum City Centre. “As a supporter of the yearly Muscat Festival, we were pleased to reward shoppers for their loyalty by giving away some fantastic prizes this month.”
The new stores include La Moda, which offers trendy sunglasses selection. For shoppers who want a pair of classy shoes, Al Escafi offers quality men’s leather footwear and Vincci sells trendy, affordable shoes and handbags.
Additional new brands include Arabian Oud, the largest Arabian fragrance retailer in the world and Mariposa, diverse home and entertainment products.
Panasonic and PHAAC have also opened their doors, offering shoppers an array of cutting-edge electronic products and digital and communications solutions, the statement said.
The store openings are part of Qurum City Centre’s commitment to leisure, entertainment, and shopping at a single destination, it said.
As a reward for their continued loyalty, the mall hosted a Mega Festival promotion which offered shopper discounts and chances to win cash prizes. Shoppers who spent a combined total of RO20 were automatically entered into daily draws to win RO250 and the grand prize draw of a shopping spree worth RO5,000.
The shopping promotion was a joint initiative with Muscat City Centre, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
