Samsung launches Galaxy Note in Jordan

Samsung Electronics, a leader in digital products, recently launched through its official mobile distributor in Jordan BCI Holdings, the latest in smartphones, the Galaxy Note.

The new Galaxy Note combines both features of the smart phone and the electronic pad, with a crystal clear 5.3-inch, HD Super Amoled touch screen.

The 9.65 mm thick Galaxy Note operates on Gingerbread android system, and is equipped with dual-core processor with 1.4 GHz speed. The new phone, which weighs 178 grams, also comes with a light pen.

Fadi Baranssi, BCI Holdings vice president and Mobile Division manager, said: “The Galaxy Note is considered Samsung’s unprecedented addition to the smart phones, as it has new and unique technological features, in addition to the basic features in a Samsung smart phone. And we are proud to be Samsung’s official mobile distributor in Jordan, to continuously introduce the latest in smart phones.”

Shaher Dasouki, Mobile Unit manager at Samsung Electronic Levant, said: “The Galaxy Note is a breakthrough in the smart phone industry, giving Samsung a distinctive lead in the market. Through our study of the market and technological advancement, we were confident this product will receive high acceptance worldwide.”

The Galaxy Note big screen allows the user to simultaneously open more than one application or program with the same level of quality, without the need to scroll up or down in the screen.

While the HD quality screen provides clear viewing for video, pictures and documents and Internet browsing, it also has the ability to rotate 180 degrees.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is perfect for taking notes, with Samsung’s S Pen feature it provides a writing pad allowing the user to amend, delete and share notes with others with new a new and unique designs, a statement said.

The appropriately sized device allows the user while on the go, to draw and write hand notes to be sent via email, text message or Samsung’s chat application “Chat On”.

The advanced S Pen technology allows the artistic user to draw precise and accurate pictures, and stores all content from pictures, documents and text and voice notes, as well as amend, add comments and share with others.

The device is also equipped with a dual-core processor GHz4.1. Additionally with HSPA+ the device allows the user fast Internet browsing, file downloading and online gaming. – TradeArabia News Service
