Samsung Electronics has launched three new dual screen compact cameras suitable for shooting self-portrait images.

“To stay ahead of the game and ensure the fast changing needs of our consumer base continue to be met, it is essential that we are constantly introducing innovation to all our products,” said Duke Park, general manager of Samsung Egypt.

“This is what we have done with our new camera range. The 2 View technology coupled with our cameras smart features ensures the perfect shot every time,” he added.

All three models feature a 26mm lens, while the 2 View technology creates a fun photographic experience, putting artistic, professional pictures within reach of even novice users, a statement said.

With each of the three cameras equipped with an HD movie recording feature users can create great videos alongside their great pictures.

The new camera range also features Samsung’s Smart 2.0 filters which create entertaining and professional finishes to photo shots through a range of options, from ‘soft focus’ and ‘half-tone dot’, to ‘fish-eye’, ‘miniature’ and sketch.

The ST700 features a 1.8-inch front LCD screen, the largest ever incorporated into this style of camera. It includes a Children mode which allows one to create animations, as well as the new Magic Frame feature, which enables instant creation of formatted postcards and posters.

The PL170 and PL120 feature bright 1.5-inch front screens that allow perfect framing of portraits, as well as the Easy Self Shot feature from the ST700, which enables turning on only the front screen for added privacy. – TradeArabia News Service
