Festival Centre offers top DSS deals

Festival Centre Dubai Festival City, an Al Futtaim Group property, has announced distinctive Dubai Summer Surprises sponsorships offering shoppers unique deals and prizes, coupled with lots of fun and entertainment from June 22 to July 31.

By spending Dh150 across any Festival Centre store, shoppers have the chance to win daily, weekly and grand prizes. Every day through DSS, a winner will be announced for a prize worth Dh5,000 and over the course of DSS, weekly winners will be announced for prizes each worth Dh20,000 and finally, at the end of DSS, two grand prize winners will be drawn for two luxury cars. Shoppers can also double their chances of winning by spending on different days in July at the centre’s wide range of stores.
For the kids, the opening of DSS 2011 is in line with the public launch of Cars 2 movie at Grand Festival Cinemas, Toys R Us is bringing the Lightning McQueen car from June 23-29 in the South Court area. The other four weeks of DSS will embrace highly interactive activities and stage shows including Cinderella - the fairy-tale classic re-written as a pantomime, Health and Science workshops introducing children to a world of discovery, a photography studio, arts and crafts activities, comedy and acrobatic performances and contemporary arts and dance with local musicians and talented dancers.
Furthering the entertainment theme for the kids is the newly opened Casper Theme Park, first of its kind in the Middle East and inspired by Casper the friendly ghost and popular protagonist of the famous theatrical animated cartoon series of the same name. – TradeArabia News Service
