New Bahrain mall timings as curfew relaxed

A number of malls around the country have announced new timings in light of relaxed curfew hours.

The curfew extends from the Seef Flyover to the traffic light before the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Causeway from 11pm to 4am.

Officials from various malls have confirmed the timings as the new working hours for their establishments. They include the Country Mall, Budaiya, open from 10am to 8pm daily with certain stores remaining open till 10pm; Seef Mall from 10am to 10pm daily and Bahrain City Centre Mall, Seef, 10am to 10pm daily with Carrefour open from 8.30am to 10pm.

This is in addition to Dana Mall, Sanabis, which is open from 9am to 9pm daily and Bahrain Mall, Sanabis, from 8am to 9pm daily.

Oasis Centre, Muharraq, is open from 10am to 9pm daily, while the Marina Mall, Manama, and Oasis Centre, Riffa, from 10am to 9pm daily.

Meanwhile, films at the Dana Mall Cinema will be screened from 10am to 9pm daily.

'The cinema is now fully functional, but we won't have any shows after 9pm,' an official told our sister newspaper Gulf Daily News (GDN).

Bahrain Cinema and Film Distribution Company's (Cineco) screens at the Bahrain City Centre and Seef Mall will be open from 10am to 10pm, with last shows starting at 8.30pm.

Films would be screened from 10am to 9pm at the company's Awal Cinema and Al Hamra Cinemas in Manama, depending on customer turnout.

Screenings would take place from 10am to 9.30pm at the Saar Cineplex and from 10am to 9.45pm at the Al Jazeera Cineplex.

'There's been a good increase in the number of customers and it's expected to get better,' a Cineco official said.
