Samsung, the leading South Korean consumer electronics company, is offering a twin refrigerator which allows for customisation of kitchen space.

The Samsung RR82EERS and RR82WERS reversible door refrigerator lets one use the fridge and freezer compartments physically separate on opposite sides of the room or together, side by side, a statement said.

“Food wastage continues to present a problem during Ramadan,” said Robin Kadyan, general manager of home appliances at Samsung Gulf Electronics.

“In keeping with the spirit of the holy month, Samsung suggests storing extra food in the fridge to enjoy at Suhour, or the next day at Iftar, which the twin refrigerator the ideal partner in the kitchen as it lends space to your kitchen and ensures food is kept fresher for longer,” he added.

The fridge features a silver anti-bacterial coating that destroys 99.9 per cent of bacteria, the statement added.

Samsung’s RZ80EERS twin freezer’s Quick Frost Box features five drawer capacity and soft frost door guard allowing plenty of storage, it said.

The twin freezer’s new LED interior lighting and blue LED display offer a sleek, smooth interior and exterior feel to the kitchen, according to the statement.

The twin refrigerator series is also Energy A+ rated, which ensures that the environment is protected, while also reducing energy use.
