Aftron, Al-Futtaim group’s consumer electronics brand, has launch its exclusive range of LED televisions.

With the launch of the new ThinTron series of LED televisions, the UAE-based private label has taken a major step to establish itself as a force in the CE sector, a statement said.

“LED panels will change the way people watch television forever. The new ThinTron series incorporates state-of-the-art technology which produces superior picture quality,” said Ajoy Mathew, general manager, Aftron.

The ThinTron series are full HD/HD ready and features 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, ultra slim design, HDMI inputs, USB inputs, picture-in-picture, invisible speakers, ultra quick response time and teletext among a range of other features.

In addition, these LED panels consume 40 per cent lower power than traditional LCD televisions, he added.

The price of the ThinTron series of LED panels is the lowest in the market, he stated.

The 32” retails at approx Dh2399 and weighs only 12.5kgs (net). The LED panels are also available in 40” for approx Dh3999 and 46” for Dh5999 approx. 

“We not only have a green product but with its attractive price point, we have put the latest technology within reach of all customers,” said Ajoy.

The new range of LED panels is available at Aftron’s flagship showroom at Festival Centre, Dubai Festival City and leading consumer electronics retailers including Plug-Ins and hyper market chains, among others.-TradeArabia News Service
