Villa Moda launches 'Hadiya' gift card
Manama, September 16, 2009
Villa Moda, a Kuwaiti luxury department store featuring fashion and clothing items from top designers, has introduced a new luxury gift card 'Hadiya' (Arabic word for gift) which can be used at all its outlets across the Gulf.
The idea is to offer customers a very luxurious and stylish way to give the gift of choice, said a Moda Villa official.
"It works like this. The customer selects any value of the gift he/she would like to give, and Villa Moda will credit that amount onto the Hadiya card. The card can then be used over several transactions, so the card will be valid until all the credit is spent," explained Ayman Fakoussa, Villa Moda marketing and PR manager.
There are no additional costs to buying the Hadiya card, but transaction worth a minimum of KD40/Dh500/QR500 or BD50 ($136) must be made. However, there is no limit to how much can be given using Villa Moda’s Hadiya cards, he stated.
Hadiya is like a credit card that comes in a black velvet box with a gold Villa Moda logo. It can be used at any time in any Villa Moda boutique in the region – Kuwait, Dubai, Doha, Manama, and the exchange rates will be calculated accordingly.
Inside the box is a message card on which the person giving the gift has the option of writing a short message and the value of the card, he added.
The Hadiya card is the perfect gift for occasions like Eid and other religious holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding gift and corporate gifts or bonuses for employees, he said.-TradeArabia News Service
