Al-Futtaim unveils 4 new Toshiba handsets

Al-Futtaim Electronics, the sole distributor for Toshiba products in the UAE, recently brought four new Toshiba smart hand held devices to the UAE.

The four new mobiles include Protégé G450, Protégé G710, Protégé G810 and the Protégé G910.

Protégé G450
The Toshiba Protégé G450 is a combination of 3G/HSDPA modem, mobile phone, MP3 player and USB memory and is designed to keep the user online, in touch and entertained when on the move.

Protégé G710
The Toshiba Protégé G710 provides access to mail, maps and more, all from one slim and elegant Smartphone, said a statement.

Windows Mobile 6 Standard in the G710 enables users to access and amend files on the move, just as they would in the office. It also features push email and an easy to use QWERTY keyboard and access to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Mobile, the G710 offers an unrivalled mobile experience for business users.

Protégé G810
Featuring a modern and stylish touch screen design, the G810 is equally agile for both business and social use. The large 2.83” QVGA touch screen and enhanced user interface make the experience of navigation and access to applications simple and easy. For business users, features such as push email and Windows Mobile® 6.1 Professional ensure total mobility.

Designed for speed, the G810 is one of the first handsets to offer HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access) connectivity of up to 2Mbps and is the perfect tool to download content from the web at broadband speed thanks to its 3.6Mbps HSDPA capability. The 3 mega pixel camera lets users take sharp photos and shoot videos that can be uploaded immediately on the internet.

The G810 features 128MB of internal memory and can support up to 4GB with a microSD card, enabling users to use and store large amounts of data.

Protégé G910
Built around Windows Mobile 6 Professional, the Protégé G910 is a powerful palmtop computer with full QWERTY keyboard and comes equipped with GPS-enabled technology, biometric fingerprint security and mobile internet access using the Opera web browser, said the statement.

The G910 includes an MP3 player, Windows Media® Player Mobile and a 2 mega pixel camera for photos and video clips, for entertainment on the move. There’s also plenty of space to store personal music, photos and video files as well as business documents, with the option to expand the capacity up to 2GB with a microSD card.

The Protégé G910’s unique 3” Wide-VGA touch screen displays more information with less scrolling and has a resolution that is five times better than a standard QVGA display, said the statement.

The G910 features push email and has multiple connectivity options, including Triband, GSM, 3G/HSPDA, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.-TradeArabia News Service
