Visa, the world’s leading payment organisation, and Damas Jewellery have launched a  novel promotional campaign in Jordan which is especially tailored to fit the sophisticated tastes of diamond lovers in the kingdom.

Launched in co-operation with Damas, the campaign offers all Visa cardholders the opportunity to buy diamond-encrusted jewellery from any of the four Damas showrooms in the Kingdom for only half of the original price till May 15, said a Visa official.

The 45-day promotion is open to any cardholder paying with Visa or Visa Electron card.

Commenting on the promotion, area manager of Visa of the Levant and Qatar, Tony Gougassian, said, 'At Visa, we are always on the lookout for fresh ideas that provide our cardholders with ultimate experiences.'

'We uphold a unique reputation, as not only do we offer cardholders safe, convenient, and easy payment solutions, but we also provide our clients with added value, through such exceptional promotions,' he noted.

'This latest campaign allows Damas customers to purchase diamond jewellery at a competitive rate, proving that, while Visa can be used for everyday spending, it is also for those willing to consider special purchases. Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but with Visa everyone has the unique opportunity to enjoy them,” Gougassian quipped.

He pointed out that this was not the first time Visa’s diamond promotion has been launched in the Kingdom.
