Oki introduces 3-year warranties
Dubai, April 5, 2009
Oki Printing Solutions (Oki), a colour printing market leader, announced today (April 5) a new scheme introducing an extended cost-free three-year warranty for its complete range of products.
The warranty extends across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) region, and includes printers, fax and multi-functional equipment.
As part of this warranty Oki will provide an all-inclusive, service on site, including travel times, and labour costs as well as parts.
“This move reflects our total confidence in the robustness of Oki products, which are manufactured to the highest possible standards,” said chief executive officer and chairman, Tetsuhei ‘Tets’ Kawamura.
“Oki’s printing solutions have long been regarded as market leaders in terms of product quality, a position which we have now reinforced with this unique commitment to our customers,” he added.
The warranty is easy to initiate, as customers simply have to register on-line, by telephone, via fax or by post within 30 days, providing their name, address, product serial number and the date of purchase.
Registering in this new scheme will guarantee customers all inclusive service on site and enhance means of communications with Oki and their distributors all over the Emea region.
“Much of Oki’s success over many years has been based on our ability to anticipate and respond to changing customer requirements,” said John Ross, general manager, Middle East, India, North East Africa, Oki.
“This important new Oki initiative reflects our proactive approach, by giving customers the confidence that they will maintain maximum availability of their business-critical in-house printing capability in today’s highly competitive commercial environment,” he explained.
“By introducing this new extended warranty we will provide our customers with complete peace of mind, and at the same time, it will enable us to respond more quickly should they make a product support call after registration.
“More broadly, it will also help us improve further our ability to communicate with customers via the channel of their choice,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
