Adaox appoints Saudi distributor

Dubai, November 11, 2008

Adaox Middle East, the regional business development centre of ESET NOD32 Antivirus, has signed up Jamal Al-Jassim Electronics as its distributor for Saudi Arabia.

As per the agreement, the new distributor will promote ESET NOD32 and ESET Smart Security to the SMB and retail sector through its strong network of thirty PCNet showrooms across the Kingdom.

"Al-Jassim’s market knowledge and experience combined with strong after sales service and technical support facilities locally make them the ideal partner to distribute ESET NOD32 and ESET Smart Security across the Kingdom," stated Neo Neophytou, managing director of Adaox Middle East.

"We're confident that Al-Jassim’s expertise in the SMB and retail sector will help us increase ESET’s market share even further in Saudi Arabia."

Jamal Al-Jassim Electronics, which was founded 1983, mainly deals in importing and distributing electronics, computers and communication equipments in Saudi Arabia.

“Al-Jassim is always on the look-out for the latest and best global products to bring to the Saudi market.  We were approached by three antivirus vendors for distributorship in Saudi. We, however, decided to go with Adaox as they have a winner - ESET NOD32,” explained Basheer Palick, sales manager at Jamal Al-Jassim Electronics.

ESET NOD32 was recently awarded its 50th VB100 per cent award from Virus Bulletin, a widely-respected independent comparative testing group. ESET was in fact the first security vendor to reach the 50-award milestone, said a statement.-TradeArabia News Service
