The much awaited inauguration of Dubai Mall, which was scheduled for today, has been postponed a second time, a report said.

The mall will now open on November 4 as its facilities are not ready yet, according to the Gulf News report.

'It cannot open like this. It will open slowly, slowly,' an onsite source said.

Project delays have become a regular feature in Dubai and the Dubai Mall was first scheduled to open in August this year.

The Dubai Mall is spread over 5.9 million sq ft and will feature about 1,200 retail outlets, in addition to the world's biggest gold souq with 220 retailers, an Olympic sized-ice rink and a landmark aquarium.
