Debenhams unveils spring collection

Debenhams has introduced an exciting spring summer collection for women, men and children.
The new range features fresh new looks by designers Julien Macdonald, John Rocha, Betty Jackson and Jasper Conran.
“The new collection for women feature a kaleidoscope of inspirations including the luxurious safari look, feminine romantic dressing and looks from the 70s, 50s and 80s with a modern take. Accessorizing is the key here, there is a range of fashionable clutches, tote bags and shoulder bags to choose from. The womenswear features irresistible opulent designerwear. The ‘tribal luxe’ look in store features a silhouette enhancing collection. Full skirts, fitted jackets and belted waists feature in a chic neutral colour palette with complimentary prints.
Taking inspiration from rockabilly , Debenhams spring summer collection also feature elements of 50s and 80s dressing. Black is the dominant colour with pink highlights. Accessories are patent and kitsch with mini clutches and plastic jewellery.
Spring summer 2008 sees vivid and alluring lingerie that is heavily embellished and inspired by bold black and white prints, dazzling neon colours, pretty paisley prints and intricate floral detail. The fabrics offer the ultimate in comfortable luxury lingerie and sleepwear.
For spring summer, Debenhams also presents a stunning range of swimwear with bold bright prints, embellished detail, printed kaftans and mix and match bikini sets. There are styles to suit every taste with a wide range of collections including the celebrated Designers at Debenhams collection and brands such as Maine, Mantaray and Red Herring.
This season also sees a second collection from beach by Melissa Odabash featuring printed kaftans and embellished swimwear.
Menswear this season features three key looks: Urban Riviera, a style that combines cool 50’s resort fused with city smart dressing. Colours are soft shades of grey with white, black and navy and highlighted with flashes of orange and green.
Festival Chic uses a more considered approach to styling, cotton shirts in cool neutrals are layered with loose scarves and easy jewellery.
Accessories include Jasper Conran sandals, Rocha, john Rocha patent shoes and St. George by Duffer moc croc holdall. There are also silk knitted scarves, and coloured belts available.
This spring summer sees Debenhams offer great value collections for children aged 0-16 years in a variety of styles from the exclusive Designers at Debenhams range.
