Omanoil expands Quick Shops network

Muscat , January 16, 2008

Oman Oil Marketing Company (Omanoil), one of the leading Omani fuel and lubricants marketing companies, has embarked on an extensive Quick Shop growth strategy setting new standards in convenience.

With a total of 13 new Quick Shops opened in the last year (four in December alone), Omanoil’s network currently consists of more than 40 shops located strategically across the sultanate.

“Customers’ needs and opinions guide us in all we do at omanoil and this transcends in our approach to Quick Shops,” said Hussain Jama Al Ishaqi, general manager retail at Omanoil.

“We strive to continuously raise the bar of quality shopping experience by providing the highest standards of customer service along with well-known trusted brands.”

Al Ishaqi said the company was planning for continued and steady growth in 2008, which will include the refurbishment of old Quick Shops.

“More importantly, we are undertaking a complete re-evaluation of our Quick Shops to provide a fully-integrated product offering to customers both inside and outside the stores. Key to this assessment is a customer-driven focus on convenience along with attractive consumer promotions,” she added.

Catering to the various needs and local tastes of the market, omanoil's expanding network of Quick Shops provides customers throughout the Sultanate with greater accessibility for their daily groceries twenty-four hours a day.

In addition, omanoil Quick Shops offer newspapers, magazines and phone cards; some with food sections, which provide freshly baked goods delivered on a daily basis. Professionally managed by well-trained staff, the Quick Shops present the ideal shopping experience for on-the-go customers as they commute.-TradeArabia News Service
