Dubai, December 17, 2007
Motorola has expanded its ‘everyday communication’ devices with the introduction of seven new W Series handsets.
The new devices – W156, W180, and W377 – are inspired by the vision of delivering Motorola’s high-tier style and innovation at an affordable price point. Each device features tools users need to stay connected, like FM radio which is featured on the, W180, and W377, (optional headphones are required to listen to the radio), said an officials spokesman.
Motorola’s proprietary CrystalTalkTM Technology, which automatically adjusts audio to ensure clear calls even in noisy environments, is featured on the W156, W180. This was previously found only on Motorola’s premier handsets.
“The everyday communications segment represents dynamic growth and is a key area of focus for Motorola,” said area director, Mobile Devices, Motorola Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan, Patrick Mulligan.
“These devices are designed for consumers who are purchasing their first mobile phone, for those who simply want to talk and message on an easy-to-use phone, or for those who are looking to upgrade a basic phone. These seven new additions to our W series exemplify Motorola’s commitment to providing innovative and exciting products to meet – and exceed – the demands of this diverse global audience,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
