Dubai:, November 15, 2007
One of the leading European retailer New Look is set to showcase its new collection at a key exhibition in Dubai.
The retailer will present its new maternity and children’s wear products on the catwalk during the three-day Mother, Baby and Child Show 2007.
Organised by The Main Event (TME) the exhibition will take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre on December 16-18, 2007, where New Look’s latest Children’s wear range for kids up to 10 years will be presented during a dedicated fashion show.
To accentuate the cut and colours of their new children’s range, New Look has arranged a hair stylist to show mums how to accessorise outfits with coloured hairsprays, as well as a face-painter to keep the toddlers occupied, the retailer said in statement.
New Look is also sponsoring the breast feeding area at the show, and will have stylish maternity wear under the brand name ’Bloom’ on view, it added.
The event promises three days full of fun and games for all of the family. Event organiser TME has put together an all-new and exciting schedule which includes the popular TV characters Power Rangers, Barbie, Postman Pat and many more.
“One lucky girl will win a host of Barbie goodies in the Barbie parade. Girls up to the age of seven will be invited to join the fashion parade in their best Barbie outfits,” said TME Exhibition Director Shannon Norris.
There will also be competitions with thousands of Dirhams’ worth of fabulous prizes up for grabs from New Boy, Ski Dubai and Viva Entertainment amongst others. The star prize however remains two return tickets to Malaysia courtesy of Malaysia Airways.
Last year the Mother Baby & Child event attracted over 30,000 visitors over three days and in excess of 130 brands, retailers and entertainment providers, covering more than 4,000 square metres are expected to participate this year, according to the retailer.
“Over the years, the secret of our success has been providing a common platform which appeals to all family members,” said Norris.
This year’s sponsors include, Progress Gold, New Boy, Volvo, Fuji Film and Malaysia Airlines. – TradeArabia News Service
