Alfa Laval Mideast celebrates 30 years of sustainable growth

DUBAI, 8 days ago

Alfa Laval Middle East, a group company of the global leading brand in heat transfer, centrifugal separation, and fluid handling, proudly marks its 30th anniversary, highlighting a journey from modest beginnings to a prominent industry position.

In 1994, Alfa Laval Middle East Ltd. launched its operations from a regional office in the UAE with fewer than 10 employees, initially targeting nearby GCC countries. Today, the company has grown significantly, boasting over 230 employees spread across 12 sites and serving 43 countries in the Middle East, Egypt, and Southeast Africa.

Throughout three decades of success, Alfa Laval Middle East Ltd. achieved notable milestones, including establishing six service centers, nine field service stations, and forming partnerships with over 65 business entities.

With a customer base exceeding 1,000 satisfied clients today and 36,500 installed units, the company has consistently delivered excellence and innovation.

The heat exchangers for HVAC applications in Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and the compact heat exchangers offered to the world’s largest green hydrogen plant being built in NEOM assert how Alfa Laval is pioneering innovation and sustainability across the region and the world.

The company's success can be attributed to its strategic pillars prioritizing safety, people, transformation, customer excellence, and sustainability. Noteworthy recent achievements include inaugurating the first Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) Assembly Center in Saudi Arabia in 2023 and launching the Dubai Customer Center in 2024.

Setting the inaugural PHE Assembly Center in Saudi serves customers’ demand better and actively contributes to reducing environmental impact avoiding the need for airfreight with its higher associated CO2 emissions.

This strategic step also aligns with the sustainability objectives of the Saudi government, including becoming net-zero by 2060. On the other hand, Alfa Laval Dubai Customer Center represents a significant stride in the company’s commitments and transformation to advance customer excellence.

This state-of-the-art facility serves as a hub for collaboration, training, and customer engagement, showcasing Alfa Laval's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-centricity.

"We are delighted to commemorate three decades of growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction," stated Sergio Hicke, MEA Cluster President at Alfa Laval. "Our journey from humble beginnings to industry leadership reflects our firm dedication to excellence and continuous improvement. The Dubai Customer Center epitomizes our commitment to empowering customers, driving innovation, and delivering unmatched value."

As Alfa Laval Middle East looks toward the future, it remains steadfast in its focus on sustainable growth, embracing technological advancements, and nurturing partnerships to continue offering exemplary solutions to its regional customers. --OGN/TradeArabia News Service
