Al Hassan wins $45m Oman EPC contract

MUSCAT, March 2, 2018

Oman-based Al Hassan Engineering Company said it has won a key engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for one of its projects in the sultanate.

As per the contract, the Omani firm will provide EPC services for PDO's Haima west combined cycle power project for RO17.6 million ($45.6 million) excluding long lead items of RO13.8 million.

The work is likely to be completed by early 2021, stated Al Hassan Engineering in its statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).

The company expects reasonable income from this project, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
