New solar expo co-located with Big 5
DUBAI, April 2, 2017
The first Big 5 Solar, a new solar exhibition, will be co-located with The Big 5 2017, the largest construction event in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region when it opens in Dubai, UAE, later this year.
Organised by dmg events, the exhibition takes place from November 26 to 29 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Big 5 Solar 2017 is set to become the premier platform for solar industry professionals to network, learn and do business in the Middle East. The Big 5’s broad international audience from 142 countries will ensure a strong solar event, further complemented by hundreds of decision makers and professionals that will gather to discuss the present and future of solar technologies in the Middle East at the Global Solar Leaders’ Summit, The Big 5 Solar’s high-level conference.
“With rooftop solar output growing more than 1,100 per cent over a one-year period, from 6 MW in 2016 to 70 MW by the end of 2017, in the UAE, the scope for collaboration between the construction and the solar industries is immense,” said Josine Heijmans, event director.
“Virtually, there’s no building project where solar can’t be incorporated, thus an early integration of solar and construction elements is the way forward to a more sustainable built environment.”
More than just a conference, the event will be the ultimate showcase of solar technologies from leading photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing countries like Germany, Italy, Greece, China, India and Turkey as well as from the GCC region. The Big 5 Solar 2017 will also offer a series of free-to-attend CPD (Continuing Professional Development)-certified workshops delivered by international experts sharing cutting-edge insights on solar technologies, projects and industry best practices. – TradeArabia News Service
