Oneic wins four contracts worth over $13bn

Oman National Engineering and Investment Company (Oneic) has been awarded four contracts worth around RO5.5 million ($13.8 billion), a report said.

The company was awarded a 10-month contract by Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) for construction of 3×20 MVA 33/11KV Primary substation at Al Amerat-2 for RO2.04 million, added the Oman Tribune report.

It also won another MEDC contract for construction of 3×20 MVA 33/11KV primary substation at Mawalleh South for RO1.99 million for a period of 10 months.

Dhofar Power Company awarded Oman National and Engineering and Investment Company contracts pertaining to bill printing and bill delivery for RO701,025 for two years commencing May 2017, the report said.

It also awarded Oneic contracts pertaining to meter reading for RO768,304 for two years from May 2017,according to the report.
