Iran to build world’s biggest solar power plant
TEHRAN, January 17, 2016
Iran will set up the world's biggest solar power plant with the capacity of 1,000 megawatts in collaboration with German experts, a report said.
One KW sunlight produces 2,000 kilowatts of clean energy, Ashton Flooring, a representative of the German company, was quoted as saying in a report published by Irna, Iran’s official news agency.
It also prevents emission of 1,200 kg of carbon dioxide, he added, speaking at the two-day International Investment Opportunities Summit in Creative City of Isfahan.
