Drivers queued at Bahrain’s petrol stations yesterday (January 11) following the announcement that prices were being increased at the pumps from today. The cost of premium Mumtaz petrol rose by 60 per cent, from 100 fils per litre to 160 fils per litre, as of midnight last night, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
