Al Hassan Engineering wins $20m contracts

MUSCAT, September 21, 2015

Oman-based Al Hassan Engineering Group has won construction contracts worth $20 million in connection with energy-related projects from the Gulf region, said a report.

Its subsidiary Al Hassan Engineering Company has won a $12-million deal from Petroleum Develpment Oman (PDO) for the implementation of the 'Mabrouk Pipeline Construction Project,' reported the Oman Observer, citing a company statement.

Also, its Abu Dhabi unit has clinched a major deal worth $7.2 million from Korean GS Engineering & Construction for civil works at Rumaitha/Shanayel oilfield located 50 km south west of the UAE capital.

Phase Three of the Abu Dhabi project will be completed in seven months, the report added.
