Intersolar Middle East, a leading exhibition series for the solar industry, will take place in Dubai, UAE from September 19 to 21, 2016.

Industry representatives and investors will meet at the Dubai World Trade Center to exchange ideas about expanding the Mena solar market.

Solar Promotion International and FMMi, organisers of the world-wide Intersolar exhibition series, have been active in the Gulf region for three years, including with the 2014 Intersolar Summit Middle East in Riyadh.

In addition, dmg events Middle East and Asia, organiser of some of the leading events in the region which includes The Big 5 and Adipec, is on board. dmg events Middle East is also the organiser of GulfSol event, which is currently taking place for the second time in Dubai in conjunction with the Global Solar Leaders Summit.

In 2014, a record number of solar projects were awarded in the Middle East with a combined capacity of 294 MW, a four-fold increase over the previous seven years combined.
