Power consumption surges 9.2pc in Bahrain

Electricity consumption in Bahrain hit a peak this summer, it was revealed yesterday (August 31). Energy Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza presented a report to the Cabinet detailing energy consumption over the summer, which showed a 9.2 per cent increase compared to last year, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
