Bapco set to launch fuel cards drive
MANAMA, September 22, 2014
A new campaign that targets 80,000 Sadeem smart fuel cards being issued by the end of the year is lined up by Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco).
The nine-day campaign will be launched at Bahrain City Centre, the petroleum refiner and fuel retailer said.
The campaign will include a number of activities and events which explain the advantages of the service, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The Sadeem card is touted as a convenient and safer payment alternative to cash and vouchers for fuel purchases.
Since its launch in 2012, more than 58,000 Sadeem smart fuel cards have been issued, which can be used at 18 Bapco service stations across the country. - TradeArabia News Service
