Unaoil opens base in Iraq's Rumaila

Unaoil, a company that provides a diverse range of oil and gas services, has opened its strategic operating base in North Rumaila to support its growing operations in Iraq.

The Unaoil North Rumaila Operating Base boasts an array of workshops for technical field services, valve repair and maintenance, and rotating equipment service support as well as a full range of facilities and staff accommodation spread over a total area of 62,000 sq m.

The base will be used to support Unaoil and its business partners including Severn Glocon, RBG Middle East, Sulzer, Swift and Man Diesel Turbo in executing Unaoil's recent contracts with both international oil and gas companies as well as Iraqi state companies.

Established in 1991, Unaoil Group provides its services in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.

Countries of operation include Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Libya, Nigeria and the UAE. The services provided encompass: Engineering & construction; workforce solutions & life support facilities; and new equipment and aftermarket services. – TradeArabia News Service
