Iran inks $3.35bn LNG deal with Chinese group

Iran signed on Saturday a liquefied natural gas (LNG) deal worth 2.6 billion euros ($3.35 billion) with a Chinese consortium, said a senior Iranian official.

'The 2.629 billion euro deal signed with the Chinese consortium is one for the implementation of production lines three and four in Iran LNG Company with an annual production of around 10.5 million tonnes,' said Ali Kheirandish, managing director of Iran LNG Company, state television reported.-Reuters
