SAIC Motor Corporation, China’s A-share market automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Shanghai, has announced its plans to launch the company in the UAE as its Middle East headquarter in November.

 

The firm has developed over the past years, strong values such as integrity, responsibility and collaboration, innovation, enterprise and aspiration, said a statement.

 

According to those customs and heritage, SAIC Motor has become the largest automaker in China. With its highest sales reaching 5.62 million vehicle units last year, it has always strived to be an exemplary force on an international level constantly competing and experimenting with the latest technology, it said.

 

With a team of 300 extensively experienced engineers based in the European Engineering Technical Centre developing the initial concepts for all new vehicles, and ensuring that each model meets the legislation and preferences of customers to refinement. The engineers here work on all MG products, and support product development in China.

 

The team, infact, is currently heavily involved in the global development of a new power train initiative, with a focus on creating new green technologies. Thus far, these talented and experienced designers have been responsible for all the models of MG and continue to work on array of exciting future projects.

 

Currently, there is also another design centre in Shanghai. It serves as a unified global vehicle process by integrating research and development with a team consisting of more than 4,000 people. It is a worldwide level technical centre with state of the art engineering and the biggest scale and full functions in China.

 

The interactive tools allow designers based in the UK and Shanghai to communicate freely. 

 

The specific communication tools have been implemented in order to leverage the performance of the company on both sides.
