Al Majid Motors, the sole distributer of Kia Motors in the UAE, has won the gold medal in the fifth Kia Regional Skill Competition held recently in Dubai.

Fifteen National Technician Skill Cup winners from nine countries in the Middle East and Africa region battled it out for the title ‘Best Kia Technician in the Region’ and the chance to participate in the Kia World Skill Cup, scheduled to take place in the second quarter of this year in Korea.

After a day of contests, a closing ceremony and dinner took place at the Taj Palace Hotel. Simon Yim from Kia Motor Company Middle East and Kia Africa regional headquarters announced the winners.

While the representative from Al Majid Motors was awarded Best KIA Technician in the region, silver medals went to South Africa and Jordan and bronze medals to South Africa, Oman and the UAE. – TradeArabia News Service
