Drive Dubai to open 2 new branches

Drive Dubai, a subsidiary of Masharie – the private equity arm of Dubai Investments and one of the biggest driving centres in the Emirate, plans to open two new branches at Logistics City (Dubai World Central) and Dubai Motor City.
Drive Dubai, registered as Dubai International Driving Center, operates an 850,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art training facility at the Dubai Investments Park Phase 2 in partnership with Belhasa International Group of Companies and Saif Belhasa Group. The facility offers specialised training programs for aspiring drivers of motorcycle, car and heavy vehicles.
The new branches, to open shortly, will offer registration and other enrolment facilities for aspiring drivers in the DWC, Dubai Motor City, Dubai Sports City, Arabian Ranches, IMPZ and other community developments and is aimed at easier access and convenience to applicants near their place of residence or work.
Drive Dubai has expanded its fleet from 12 vehicles at the launch in July 2012 to 48 vehicles as on date, which includes cars, forklifts, heavy buses, motorcycles and trucks. The total number of driving licences issued since inception has crossed over 2,000.
The company also has a team of about 45 trainers at the facility, and plans to add another 10 trainers in the coming months. Drive Dubai plans to open its dedicated Instructor Training Centre soon to further enhance the skills of driving instructors, to keep them updated and to ensure that new instructors comply with Drive Dubai’s training standards.
Toufic Fouad Syriany, manager of Drive Dubai, said: “We have witnessed amazing growth in the last one year, and now it is time to expand our presence beyond DIP. The opening of our two new branches is to facilitate easier access and better service to our students in DWC and Motor City areas. At Drive Dubai, we are constantly aiming to improve our facilities to not only ensure that we produce good drivers, but to make the whole process seamless.”
Drive Dubai also offers training and mentoring services in the freight and public transport industry, plant operators, motorcycle riders and bus drivers, which is on demand at industrial units in Jebel Ali, DIP and DWC.
