Euro Motors displays latest bikes at show

Euro Motors, the exclusive importer of BMW Motorrad Bikes in Bahrain, is showcasing four bikes at the Batelco Bahrain Bike Week.

Enthusiasts and visitors can experience the S 1000 RR, R 1200 GS / GS Adventure, the K1300 R as well as the world’s most popular and versatile single-cylinder motorbike the G 650 GS, at the show which opened in Bahrain Mall today (November 17). It will run till November 19.

The company, a platinum sponsor of the event, also displays a selection of Motorrad accessories.

Robust and powerful, the G 650 GS boasts an engine that delivers an impressive 35 kW (48 bhp) at 6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 60 Nm at 5000 rpm, yet is still extremely light at 192 kg making it ideal for beginners due to its low fuel consumption and simple handling. The bike is aggressively engineered for unrelenting performance in harsh environments, a statement said.
 
The S 1000 RR superbike is an exceptional combination of supreme riding precision and agility, with unparalleled engine power and performance forming an overall package truly unique in the market. The S 1000 RR is a highly innovative straight-four super sport motorcycle that combines engine output of 193 hp with overall weight of just 204 kg including fuel, it said.

The BMW K 1300 S combines sporting character and riding dynamics with a high level of comfort, light-footed handling with absolute riding stability, and superior performance with perfect everyday practicality. At the same time, it offers a high level of protection against wind and weather and perfected ergonomics for long hauls, it said.

BMW Motorrad’s ultimate adventure motorbike, R 1200 GS/ GS Adventure, makes extended tours, and long distance travels run like a thread through the history. With body parts in solid Alpine white, graphics in the legendary BMW Motorrad Motorsports colours, and fork and engine in black lend the R 1200 GS/ GS Adventure has an especially sporting, adventurous character.

The Batelco Bahrain Bike Week is held under the patronage of the president of General Organization of Youth and Sports (Goys) Hisham Mohamed Al Jowder.
