Germany backs major car expo
Manama, April 8, 2011
The 2011 edition of 'Automechanika Middle East,' to be held in Dubai from June 7 to 9, will feature the world's largest German Pavilion at an automotive event.
This is representative of the surge in worldwide interest in the Middle East region's premier trade and networking event for the automotive aftermarket, said German exhibition and conference organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt.
Automechanika Middle East 2011 will run from June 7 to 9 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and will feature the best from the workshop equipment, tyres and tubes, batteries, parts and systems, repair and maintenance and accessories and tuning industries.
"Over the years, Automechanika Middle East has been able to gain a true feel of the trends in the regional market, thanks to close association and co-operation with our partners," said Epoc Messe Frankfurt chief executive officer Ahmed Pauwels.
"The wide scope of the event has enabled our international exhibitors, which includes many of the leading international players, to gain direct access to the key decision makers, buyers, traders and suppliers who do business in the region," he added.
The record-breaking German pavilion will feature 59 exhibitors who come from across the entire spectrum of the German automotive aftermarket.
This represents an increase of close to 25 per cent on the last edition of the event in terms of net space occupied.-TradeArabia News Service
