Forum to discuss auto aftermarket
Dubai, May 22, 2010
Experts in the automotive aftermarket field will discuss the latest trends and developments at Automechanika Academy, the trade conference set to run on the sidelines of an upcoming aftermarket event in Dubai.
Automechanika Middle East 2010 will run from May 25 to 27 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
On the agenda for the increasingly popular Academy are various hot-button issues that dominate the discussion in the global automotive industry.
“Since its inception, the Academy has succeeded in promoting dialogue among those involved in the regional market,” said Ahmed Pauwels, chief executive officer of organisers Epoc Messe Frankfurt.
“With various technical issues making headlines recently, the need for a common platform for regional players to interact with, and learn from is vital.”
“Automechanika Academy is designed to provide just that platform where the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers can familiarise themselves with the unique conditions and requirements of the Middle East market,” Pauwels added.
Among the key presentations at the Academy will be an in-depth look at the new Toyota U Series automatic transmission, as well as the latest trade statistics in the automotive market.
The ongoing drive to inform the public on a Conformity System for tyres in the GCC will be explained, and a presentation on a conformity system for motor vehicles will be given. – TradeArabia News Service
