Top officials from Saudi Arabia and China have discussed at a meeting in Beijing ways to strengthen military and defence cooperation, a report said.

While exchanging views on issues of common interest, Saudi Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman and Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, also reviewed regional and international developments, said Saudi Gazette in a report.

Prince Khalid bin Salman is currently on an official visit to China, leading a delegation of senior civilian and military officials.
