Blacklane Middle East enhancing airport transfers

Blacklane Middle East projects 25% growth in airport transfers

DUBAI, 2 days ago

The region is expected to see a 25% increase in luxury airport transfers, says Blacklane Middle East, solidifying its role as the region’s premier chauffeur service provider. Last year alone, airport transfers accounted for 49% of all Blacklane rides.

As demand for efficient chauffeur services rises, Scotland-based travel agency Skyscanner said in a report says that 92% of UAE travellers are planning summer holidays abroad, indicating a robust demand for international travel.

This year, the UAE’s outbound travel sector is seeing significant growth, with international flight bookings increasing by 70.1% in February compared to last year, according to Wego.

This upward trend is set against the backdrop of major airports such as Heathrow bracing for their busiest summer season.

As busy airports make seamless travel experiences increasingly valuable, Blacklane said it is at the forefront of this transformation, enhancing airport transfers.

Recent data from the company revealed significant insights into the travel preferences and patterns of UAE guests. Since 2023, 35% of UAE guests have utilised Blacklane services globally after their initial ride in the UAE, demonstrating strong international adoption and brand loyalty.

Operating an exclusive fleet of all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQS vehicles, Blacklane enhances every ride with luxury amenities like ventilated massage seats, HEPA air filtration systems and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The service is further enhanced by flight tracking to monitor flight delays and adjust pick-up times accordingly, along with a 60-minute complimentary wait time during pick-ups.

Additionally, Blacklane has exclusive access to VIP gates at Terminal 1 and 3 in Dubai Airport, allowing guests to bypass standard waiting areas and move seamlessly from plane to car.

This suite of services is further supported by an intuitive app for easy booking. Each vehicle is driven by professionally trained male and female chauffeurs, providing a safe, private space complete with in-built noise cancellation technology for uninterrupted transfers.

The latest data from Blacklane also highlight London, New York and Paris as top destinations for its UAE guests. However, travel trends have shifted, with the USA now surpassing the UK as the primary destination for Blacklane travellers and Miami emerging as a notable new favourite.

Despite these changes, Western European countries like Germany, France, Spain, and Switzerland remain popular destinations. Italy, in particular, is seeing an uptick in interest, with Milan and Rome drawing more visitors, highlighting Italy’s sustained allure.

Operating in over 50 countries and 200 cities worldwide, Blacklane enhances travel convenience by offering seamless door-to-door pick-up and drop-off services in major cities such as Los Angeles, Athens, and Milan.

This network ensures that guests enjoy consistent luxury and efficiency from their residences in Dubai to their accommodations abroad, simplifying their travel experiences every step of the way.

Nicolas Soucaille, General Manager of Blacklane Middle East, said: “As we approach what promises to be a record-breaking summer travel season, our projected increase in airport transfers is a direct response to the expanding travel market.

“This is particularly evident among the UAE’s expat community, which comprises 90% of the population and is increasingly travelling for leisure or returning home during the summer months.

“Recent insights from Dnata also highlight a significant trend towards luxury and personalised travel experiences.

“Our services are designed to cater to this demand, ensuring that each journey with Blacklane is enveloped in comfort, peace, and luxury.”

Blacklane offers refined and sustainable options that meet modern preferences. Furthermore, guests can ride with ease knowing that all Blacklane rides globally are 100% carbon neutral, as the firm offsets all carbon emissions from all journeys — a first for the industry, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
