Eid Al Adha on June 16, says Saudi Arabia
RIYADH, June 9, 2024
Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court has announced that Friday (June 7) was the first day of Dhu Al-Hijjah, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, as the crescent moon of the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah was sighted on June 6.
The Supreme Court said standing at Arafat shall be on Saturday, the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah for this Year, 1445 AH, corresponding to June 15, and the blessed Eid Al-Adha shall be on the following day, Sunday (June 16).
