City Centre Bahrain opens refurbished parking facility

Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has opened a completely refurbished parking at City Centre Bahrain’s basement level, featuring new facilities for families, motorcyclists, visitors with limited mobility, and drivers of large and electric cars.

Customer feedback has demonstrated that the parking experience has a direct influence on the overall quality of a shopping mall trip, and the new measures will improve visitors’ experience moving forwards, said a statement from Majid Al Futtaim.

As part of the retail pioneer’s vision to create great moments for everyone, every day, it continuously innovates to create better experiences for visitors.

Previous enhancements made to City Centre Bahrain’s parking included LED lighting technology enabling arriving guests to identify available parking spaces and a car-park guidance system located at each mall’s gates enabling shoppers to find their vehicles easily.

City Centre Bahrain, which features 4,800 parking spaces, is always working to improve convenience and accessibility to the mall and enhance drivers’ overall experience, said a company spokesman.

With this refurbishment, parking at City Centre Bahrain’s basement level has now got much easier, he stated

"It has become very convenient for families with young kids, pregnant woman, and senior relatives as the new family parking features wider parking spaces located close to the malls’ main entrances," he explained.

Also there is accessible parking conceived for visitors with limited mobility and visitors using wheelchairs.  These dedicated wider spaces are located right next to the mall entrances, said the spokesman.

"If you are driving a large-sized car or SUV, the extra-roomy spaces will make it very easy and convenient," he stated.
 
Also the new arrangement will come handy for environmentally-friendly visitors who drive electrical cars.
 
"These vistors can make use of a free electrical car charging service while they enjoy their shopping, dining and entertainment experiences at the basement," said the spokesman.

"Amidst all this, Majid Al Futtaim has not forgotten the bikers. They have been given designated parking spaces to parking their beloved mobikes," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
