Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in Bahrain, has signed up as a key sponsor for the Bahrain Animal Production Show 2018, also known as Mara’ee 2018, which opens today.

Mara’ee exhibition, an animal agriculture trade show that encompasses a unique blend of educational activities, entertainment and animal exhibits, is being held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Bahrain Endurance Village till March 31.

With over 100,000 visitors from around the region gracing the previous iteration of the Bahrain Animal Production Show, it is one of the kingdom’s largest and most anticipated family attractions.

The exhibition aims to bring together farmers, breeders, researchers, organic lifestyle enthusiasts and families looking to have a grand and memorable time under one roof embraced by a mélange of activities including bird shows, animal exhibitions, horse shows, animal shows and live performances with an Educational Zone, entertainment and competitions, and much more included, said the event organisers.

Around 90 exhibitors will participate in the cattle, sheep and goat section, where milk and meat production breeds will be presented, and about 1,000 bird exhibitors will take part in the four-day show, they added.

The Bahrain Animal Production Show aims to highlight the latest developments in agricultural fields in the areas of animal production, poultry, fish farming, veterinary and food industries, enable participants to exchange experiences, and encourage business and investment deals.
