Kuwait ready to host Gulf leaders

KUWAIT, December 4, 2017

Kuwait has completed preparations for hosting the 38th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit, said First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
 
Attending the UAE's 46th National Day celebrations at the country's embassy in Kuwait, he said Kuwait will welcome GCC leaders on Tuesday and Wednesday, a Wam news age ncy report said.
 
A ministerial meeting is due to kick off on Monday ahead of the summit, added Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, who hoped the talks would support the continuation of the bloc's accomplishments.
 
According to the Kuna, he also highlighted the depth of Kuwaiti-UAE relations, under the leadership of both His Highness the Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
