Saudi King extends Eid holidays by a week

RIYADH, June 21, 2017

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued directives extending the Eid Al Fitr holiday by one week, Saudi Press Agency announced on Wednesday.
 
The Saudi leader directed the Eid holiday to run until July 8. 
 
Government employees will start the holiday season on Sunday and are expected to resume on July 9 instead of July 1, said the SPA report.
 
As per the previous royal directives, the Eid holidays, which started on June 15, were supposed to end on July 1 and employees to resume work on July 2, it added.
