Dr Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg, president of the Dubai Business Women Council, was named 'Business Woman Of The Year' at the Gulf Business Awards held yesterday (September 6) at the Taj Hotel, Dubai.

With the annual Gulf Business Awards celebrating regional businesses and industry leaders, Al Gurg was recognised for her leading work with the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG), Dubai Healthcare City Authority, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Dubai Business Women Council and the Al Jalila Foundation, as well as her ongoing involvement in several philanthropic, social and charitable activities, said a statement.

Established in 2002, under the umbrella of the DCCI, the Dubai Business Women Council is the official representative organisation for business women, both professionals and entrepreneurs, in  the emirate of Dubai. - TradeArabia News Service
