World’s largest crochet blanket record smashed

Almost 50 women in Bahrain have helped smash the record for creating the world’s largest crochet blanket. They were among nearly 1,000 women around the globe who pieced together more than 5,000 blankets, measuring a total of 11,148 sq m, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
