Minehunters to dock at new British base in Bahrain

British aircraft carriers will not dock at a new naval base expected to open in Bahrain this year because the water is “not deep enough”. However, UK minehunters will be there permanently, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
