Up to 50 female victims of sex traffickers are believed to be trapped in Bahrain, according to a senior Indian police officer tasked with investigating a suspected international vice network stretching from Kerala to Manama. Concerns over their well-being have now prompted Kerala Inspector General of Police-Special Cybercrime Squad S Sreejith to issue an appeal for information about the alleged racket, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
